This Fused Glass Floral Mezuzah Case is made by fusing various particles of glass. The art of fusing glass dates back 4000 years to the Middle East. Each individual Mezuzah is cut and then fired in a kiln at 1400F. At this temperature the pieces of glass literally fuse, the edges round, and the surfaces take on a brilliant gloss. Variations of design and color are both the nature of the glass and the handmade process.

When installing this Mezuzah be sure to hammer the nails very carefully.
