This Tihany Christofle Silver Mezuzah Case is designed by the designer, Adam D. Tihany, who has designed a very modern and stylish collection of Judaica, and it is produced by the skillful hands of Christofle Silver. The function of a mezuzah is to encase a scroll with the biblical passages declaring dedication to God, that is mounted on the doorways of the home. Tihany’s mezuzah elegantly incorporates the Hebrew letter shin , which represents the first letter of the word Almighty, into the actual body of the piece rather than applying it to the surface in a more traditional approach.
